Meet The Chef
I'm a personal chef working in the Tri-Valley, Alameda County area. My specialty is organizing private/small dinner parties and weekly meal preparation for busy people, elderly and people with special dietary needs. I'm Food Safety certified and have worked as a professional party planner for many years. I have specialized training in dealing with seniors and working with people with dementia & Alzheimer's from my years at working at retirement communities. I enjoy cooking for families that need someone to help their parents eat healthy and stay in their homes.
Just a little bit about me...
I decided to become a chef not only because I have a love for food, but because I believe that food brings people together. Food is that special thing we share and all have in common. One of my favorite things to do has always been to cook for others and I get great pleasure from having everyone enjoy the meals I create.
I have worked as an event planner for many years. Planning, hosting and facilitating them is enjoyable and I love the atmosphere of these special events celebrating important occasions. For many years, I have worked with seniors in a retirement setting and have a special place in my heart for the senior community and witnessed their true appreciation when someone cooks for them. By taking away the daily task of cooking meals for seniors and those working families, I'm able to provide you with healthy nutritious meals. You will no longer be burdened with planning, shopping or clean up giving you more free time to enjoy your evenings. Saving time from the kitchen gives you homemade nutritious meals without the hassle!
Many people ask me "What style of food do you cook?" I really don't have an answer to that because I enjoy cooking a variety of cuisines - I enjoy all kinds of food, including Southern style, Italian, French, Asian and everything in between. My joy for cooking and willingness to try new things is one of the best parts of being a chef.
Over the years, I have traveled around the world and have learned and tasted lots of different cuisines. I enjoy sharing what I like with everyone. It's one of the many reasons I left a corporate environment and decided to go back to school and become a chef. I'm really looking forward to sharing wonderful culinary experiences with you.
